FAQ
Downloads and setup
Does the Windows client cost extra?
No. The Windows client for Zoho Mail, Calendar, Writer, Sheet, Cliq, Meeting and WorkDrive (Sync) is free with your Zoho Workplace subscription, and the installer on this page is free to download. You sign in with your Zoho Workplace account, so an active subscription is required to use it.
Can I still open Microsoft Office files after migrating?
Yes. Your existing Word, Excel and PowerPoint files open and edit in Zoho's online editors with full functionality — no format conversion required.
Where do these installers come from?
Every installer link on this page points to Zoho's official CDN (downloads.zohocdn.com) — you can check the domain in your browser's address bar before installing. Version numbers in the file names change as Zoho ships new releases.
Can I keep working without an internet connection?
Some apps, including Zoho Mail, Writer and Show, keep working while you are offline and sync once you are back online.
Which file should I download?
Almost always the 64-bit EXE. The 32-bit EXE is for older 32-bit Windows installations, and the MSI files are Windows Installer packages — pick one of those if your IT team deploys software centrally or asks for an MSI.
